As you might have noticed, we’ve added our T.O. To Do list on the right side of our blog. While we have a few ideas from the get-go, we thought we should check online and see what other people think you just can’t miss if you’re in the Big Smoke.
Out of the 25 list of things to do they provide, here are the ones we’ve managed to do:
2. Sit upstairs at Union Station during rush hour
4. Tour the Steam Whistle Brewery – with at least six friends who work there, we’ve been on this train before
5. Have a hot chocolate at Soma in The Distillery District – actually, wasn’t really a fan.
7. Go shopping at Honest Ed’s
8. Walk the boardwalk at The Beach
9. Go to Yonge-Dundas Square – seriously, who hasn’t
10. Dine at a famous chef’s place – He missed out, but I went to Susur Lee’s for a work dinner. It was niiice
12. Get out of the downtown core – considering we don’t live in it…
13. Ride the 501 Queen streetcar
14. Go shopping in Chinatown
16. Window shop in Yorkville – you can’t do anything BUT windowshop in Yorkville
23. Eat Souvlaki on The Danforth
They’ve got some good ones on there actually, that we’ll definitely add to our list! Casa Loma (I never went as a kid, okay?), walking the entire PATH, lots of good stuff.
